New Hampshire Nursing Home Costs and Star Ratings Updated

New Hampshire’s population is aging at a rapid pace. In fact, NH is the state with the third fastest aging population in the U.S. By the year 2020, the number of elderly New Hampshirites will peak. And by 2030, the Granite Staters will experience a “silver tsunami,” almost one-third of the population will be 65 or older. Since it is estimated that 70% of people turning age 65 can expect to use some form of long-term care during their lives, seniors should acquaint themselves with the cost of nursing homes in their state. New Hampshire is in the top 10 most expensive states for nursing home care.
