We found 654 nursing homes in New York; the average cost for which is about $334 per day for a semi-private room. New York nursing homes have an average Caregiverlist Star Rating of 2.8 out of 5 stars. New York’s nursing homes are now the 2nd costliest in the nation, surpassing Connecticut. Only Alaska is more expensive at $751 per day. All of New York’s neighboring state nursing homes are less expensive, with Pennsylvania coming in at least expensive with a daily cost of $226 per day for a shared room.
