Boomer Business Summit 2013 Includes Caregiverlist on Trends, Tech & Media

Baby Boomers are aging and they are doing it differently than the generations before them.  Bill Clinton and George W. Bush are Boomers, along with Mick Jagger and Richard Branson.  This is the generation that changed the world in the 1960’s with sex, love and rock-and-roll and they are now changing the face of aging.

Boomer Business Summit pulls together leaders in the senior care industry to continue the discussion and spotlight leaders in innovating new services along with government entities.

Caregiverlist’s founder joins the Boomer Summit panel on Trends, Tech & Media at this year’s Boomer Business Summit.

Mary Furlong founded SeniorNet.org in 1986 and ThirdAge.com in 1996 which she later sold to AOL.  Mary continues to lead and innovate online by bringing together thought leaders in senior care and participating on government councils and on company boards.

Caregiverlist provides the online resource with the daily costs of nursing homes nationwide and looks forward to continue to participate in the conversation on innovation for quality senior care.

Senior care professionals may attend the Boomer Business Summit 2013 by registering for the 1-Day event  at the Chicago Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago on March 12, 2013.

Some of the innovators in the industry will also be touring Chicago’s technology incubator, 1871, the day before the event.  As the number of seniors will triple in the coming decade, and seniors continue to live longer, more technology offerings to assist with aging-in-place and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are welcomed.

Caregiverlist will share news from the Boomer Summit with our site visitors.
